Grooming Training Terms and Conditions

BOOKING
• Full payment is required when you make a course booking. Unless you decide to pay in instalments. Then the final payment is due 1 month before the start of the course.
• You can book and pay online via credit/debit card.
• Please enter all your details clearly on your booking form including your name as you would like it to appear on your certificate(s).
• Reserved course places will be held for a maximum of 5 working days. Failure to return a completed booking form and make payment within 5 days will result in loss of the reserved course places.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once payment has been made all booked courses cannot be cancelled. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a course is cancelled by Woofs n Scruffs due to unforeseen circumstances delegates already booked on the course will be given an alternative date.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For the Level 2 Course there are no entry requirements. For the Level 3 Course students must have first completed the Level 2 Course. Students who have completed the Level 2 Course at a different centre, may book directly onto the advanced course, however, will be required to provide proof of their Level 2 qualification.

HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES
There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of each course. – Woofs Academy has a comprehensive health and safety policy and cannot be responsible for injuries sustained whilst on our premises. – In accordance with current law Woofs Academy operates a no smoking policy.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Cars are parked at owner’s risk
• Woofs Academy is not responsible for any damage to vehicles.
• Please note we do not allow dogs other than those being groomed (or using another service) at the centre on site. There are not enough breaks during the course to look after your dogs and it may either be too hot or cold for them. Our priority is animal welfare. We do not provide kennel facilities and if you attend a course and bring dogs you wish to leave in your car or van we may ask you to leave the course.
• We do not permit use of video or still cameras within the classroom or practical sessions.
• Any photographs taken whilst on our premises whether with or without our permission remain covered by Woofs n Scruffs copyright. You may not publish any still photographs or video taken (on the internet or in printed form) or use in any other way without written permission from Woofs n Scruffs.
• All course materials, including the ‘take home’ course notes and manuals have been copyrighted by Woofs n Scruffs and therefore cannot be reproduced, sold or used on courses you may run or attend. Any infringement of copyright will be pursued.
• We reserve the right to update our courses whenever we feel necessary.
• Each potential delegate is responsible for reading and understanding the course description to ensure the course is right for them – please ask for further advice before booking a course if you are unsure.
• Whilst every care is taken to run a course as advertised, lecturers may be substituted due to unforeseen circumstances

CONFIDENTIALITY
During the course students will encounter customers of Woofs Academy and/or Woofs n Scruffs. It is a requirement of the course that students sign a Confidentiality Agreement before the course commences to ensure they comply with Data Protection and do not remove customer details or contact for personal or business purposes during the course or once it finishes.

EQUIPMENT
Equipment belonging to Woofs Academy or Woofs n Scruffs must not be removed from the premises under any circumstances.

CAR PARKING
There is a car park for student use. Cars are left in the care park at the owners risk.

ABSENCE
Woofs n Scruffs grooming courses are delivered to meet the Guided Learning Hours of the training provider. To achieve the qualification attendance needs to be 100%. If you need to be absent from the course for any reason please discuss this in advance of the absence with the course tutors.
